System Support Senior Specialist

About the role

The IT team at Kastamonu Entegre is seeking a System Support Senior Specialist to manage and optimize our Linux and Windows server environments. You will work in a hybrid setting, ensuring high availability and security of critical infrastructure.

Key responsibilities

• Install, configure, patch, upgrade and secure Linux and Windows servers.
• Monitor system performance, conduct capacity planning and troubleshoot issues.
• Administer user access, identity integration and security policies.
• Plan, implement and maintain backup, disaster recovery and business continuity solutions.
• Develop automation scripts using Bash, Python, PowerShell, Perl, Ruby or Go.
• Manage web servers (Apache, Nginx) and databases (MySQL, PostgreSQL, MongoDB).
• Utilize monitoring tools such as Zabbix, ELK, Prometheus and Grafana.
• Deploy and manage virtualization platforms (VMware vSphere, Proxmox VE, KVM/QEMU) and oversee VM lifecycle.

Required profile

• Minimum 5 years of hands‑on Linux system administration experience.
• Proven experience with enterprise‑scale infrastructure and virtualization.
• Professional‑level English proficiency.
• Completed military service for male candidates.

Required skills

• Advanced Linux (Ubuntu, CentOS, RHEL, Debian) and Windows server knowledge.
• Scripting in Bash, Python, PowerShell, Perl, Ruby or Go.
• Experience with Apache, Nginx, MySQL, PostgreSQL, MongoDB.
• Monitoring tools: Zabbix, ELK, Prometheus, Grafana.
• Virtualization: VMware vSphere, Proxmox VE, KVM/QEMU.
• Familiarity with Docker, Kubernetes, Ansible, Terraform.
• Cloud platforms: AWS, Azure, Google Cloud.
• Knowledge of ISO 27001, GDPR/KVKK compliance.
