Takedown Analyst – Cyber Threat Intelligence

About the role

We are seeking a highly skilled and detail‑oriented Takedown Analyst to join our Cyber Threat Intelligence team. The role focuses on mitigating cyber threats by facilitating the takedown of phishing websites, malicious domains, IP addresses, fraudulent social media accounts, and other digital threats.

Key responsibilities

• Execute takedown procedures for phishing sites, malicious domains, IP addresses and fraudulent social media accounts by coordinating with registrars, hosting providers and platform operators.
• Analyze phishing URLs, emails, IP addresses and related artifacts to validate threats and identify trends.
• Maintain detailed records of takedown activities, evidence gathered and outcomes.
• Track takedown effectiveness, produce periodic reports for clients and internal stakeholders.
• Develop and refine takedown workflows to improve efficiency and success rates.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Cybersecurity, Computer Science, Information Technology or equivalent experience.
• Proven experience in takedown operations or related cybersecurity roles.

Required skills

• Strong understanding of DNS, domain registration processes and hosting environments.
• Experience analyzing phishing websites, malicious domains and online threats.
• Proficiency with OSINT tools and techniques.
• Knowledge of social media reporting and takedown mechanisms.
• Familiarity with email header analysis.
• Basic scripting ability (Python, Bash) to automate tasks.
