Tax Manager

About the role

The Tax Manager will lead the organization’s tax function, ensuring full compliance with all applicable tax laws and regulations while supporting strategic tax planning initiatives.

Key responsibilities

• Manage and oversee all tax-related activities, guaranteeing accurate and timely statutory filings.
• Coordinate tax return submissions and ensure compliance with corporate income tax, VAT, withholding tax, and stamp tax obligations.
• Identify, assess, and mitigate tax risks across the business.
• Lead tax audits, inspections, and interactions with tax authorities and external advisors.
• Monitor legislative changes and implement updates promptly.
• Collaborate with accounting, finance, and other functions to evaluate tax implications of business decisions.
• Maintain relationships with external auditors, tax consultants, and regulatory bodies.
• Mentor and develop the tax team, driving continuous improvement.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Economics, Finance, Public Finance or a related field.
• Minimum 10 years of experience in taxation, preferably in multinational organizations.
• Strong knowledge of Turkish tax legislation and compliance requirements.
• Fluent English communication skills.
• CPA (SMMM) qualification is preferred.
