Tax Senior - Global Compliance and Reporting (Bursa)

About the role

EY is looking for a Senior to join its Tax Global Compliance and Reporting department in Bursa. The role sits within EY's tax practice, which works across assurance, consulting, strategy and transactions, and supports clients on tax matters.

Key responsibilities

• Review corporate income tax returns and transactions forming the tax base to assess compliance with applicable tax legislation
• Provide day-to-day tax advisory support to clients and identify necessary corrections or adjustments
• Support the preparation of full certification reports and other services within the scope of Sworn-in Certified Public Accountant (YMM) activities
• Take part in tax audits and client meetings to discuss audit findings and outcomes
• Support and guide junior team members, including contributing to their performance evaluations and professional development
• Monitor changes in tax legislation, regulations and market practices and reflect them in client work
• Build and maintain effective relationships with clients and internal stakeholders

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in Economics, Business Administration, Finance, Public Finance or another relevant field
• About 2-4 years of relevant experience in tax audit and/or tax advisory
• Good command of written and spoken English
• Strong communication, client relationship management and problem-solving skills
• Collaborative, proactive and team-oriented, with strong organisational and time management skills
• Able and willing to travel when required

Required skills

• Strong knowledge of MS Office applications
• Preferred: SMMM qualification or having started the SMMM internship process
