Terminal Based Operations (TBO) Specialist – Çatalca

About the role

We are seeking a Terminal Based Operations (TBO) Specialist to join our Çatalca warehouse in Istanbul. The specialist will ensure smooth execution of terminal operations from pickup to delivery, supporting DHL Freight’s multinational logistics network.

Key responsibilities

• Communicate with the customer service team to verify order data and resolve inconsistencies.
• Monitor and report order data quality issues, ensuring alignment with physical operations.
• Coordinate line‑haul trips, manage terminal slot appointments, and maximize utilization of inter‑terminal transport.
• Update order status and trip data in the Transport Management System (TMS) in a timely manner.
• Maintain documentation compliance, request and archive PODs, and support ISO‑based quality standards.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree.
• Fluent English.
• 2‑3 years of logistics experience in a similar role.
• Strong communication, analytical and problem‑solving abilities.
• Result‑oriented mindset with negotiation skills and flexibility for varying work hours.

Required skills

• Proficiency with Transport Management System (TMS) for data entry and tracking.
• Experience using digital archive tools for document management.
