Warehouse Supervisor - Istanbul Sabiha Gökçen Airport

About the role

Avolta, a global travel retail and food & beverage operator founded by the merger of Dufry and Autogrill, is looking for an experienced Warehouse Supervisor to join its team at Istanbul Sabiha Gökçen International Airport. The role supervises and coordinates daily warehouse operations, from goods receipt to dispatch, ensuring efficiency, safety and compliance with customs regulations, company policies and operational standards. It leads warehouse teams, maintains inventory accuracy and optimizes performance.

Key responsibilities

• Supervise and coordinate daily warehouse operations, including goods receiving, storage, picking, replenishment and dispatch.
• Lead, coach and support the warehouse team by allocating workloads, monitoring performance and fostering development.
• Ensure inventory accuracy, product traceability and effective stock rotation using FIFO principles and inventory control best practices.
• Coordinate the timely and accurate distribution of products to stores, warehouses and operational locations.
• Ensure compliance with customs regulations, airport requirements, occupational health and safety standards and company policies.
• Monitor shipment documentation, warehouse records and inventory transactions, and lead inventory counts, stock reconciliations, customs inspections and audits.
• Manage damaged, missing or obsolete inventory and coordinate between Warehouse, Customs Operations and Supply Chain teams.
• Monitor warehouse equipment and assets, and promote a safe, disciplined, high-performing environment.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in Logistics, Business Administration, Supply Chain Management or a related field.
• Minimum 3 years of experience in warehouse operations, logistics, inventory management or a similar environment.
• Proven team leadership and people management experience.
• Strong knowledge of warehouse operations, inventory control and customs-controlled environments.
• Good command of written and spoken English preferred.

Required skills

• Advanced SAP knowledge with hands-on experience in transaction processing, reporting and data management.
• Experience with Warehouse Management Systems (WMS) and inventory management tools.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications.
