Account Manager – Plastics & Chemicals Sales

About the role

The Account Manager will be responsible for expanding Prime Plastichem Turkey’s customer base and driving sales of plastics and chemicals raw materials in the assigned territory. This role combines proactive prospecting, relationship management and market intelligence to achieve growth targets.

Key responsibilities

• Identify and pursue new and targeted accounts within the designated region.
• Meet annual sales plan objectives, including volume and MSP profitability targets.
• Establish, develop and maintain relationships with existing and prospective customers to generate new business.
• Conduct first‑visit introductions and regular telephone or in‑person follow‑ups.
• Provide market intelligence through oral and written reports on customer needs, competitor activities and opportunities for new products.
• Prepare detailed visit reports with action items and follow‑up plans.
• Coordinate with logistics and finance teams to ensure customer expectations are met.
• Track and report on competitors’ activities in the region.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree (Chemistry education is a plus).
• 3‑5 years of sales experience in the plastics raw‑materials industry.
• Self‑driven, aggressive, motivated and result‑oriented.
• Detail‑oriented, organized with strong problem‑solving abilities.
• Excellent communication skills across all levels of the company and with external partners.
