Accounting & Financial Reporting Specialist / Senior Specialist

About the role

Grafton, a Gi Group brand, is recruiting on behalf of an international client headquartered in France. The role sits directly under the CFO and bridges statutory accounting operations with management reporting and financial control. It suits someone with a solid background in Turkish statutory accounting, tax declarations and risk management who wants to move into international financial planning, analysis and management reporting.

Key responsibilities

• Manage end-to-end local accounting in line with the Turkish Commercial Code and Tax Procedural Law, and prepare, reconcile and file VAT, withholding, advance corporate tax and corporate income tax declarations
• Oversee invoicing, e-billing solutions and vendor/customer reconciliation
• Deliver monthly management reporting packages to the French headquarters within five business days of the month, and reconcile local statutory accounts to IFRS for group reporting
• Prepare ad-hoc reports, variance analyses and performance metrics, record month-end journal entries, prepayments, depreciation and accruals in the ERP, and track OPEX/CAPEX budgets
• Supervise banking operations, FX transactions and vendor payments, and monitor customer credit limits and receivables aging

Required profile

• Minimum 3 years of progressive experience in statutory accounting, tax declarations and financial operations; prior exposure to group reporting is a strong asset
• Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Economics, Finance, Accounting or a related field
• CPA (SMMM) qualification or advanced candidacy strongly preferred
• Fluent English, French a distinct plus

Required skills

• Deep knowledge of Turkish tax law, statutory filings and e-transformation systems
• Working knowledge of IFRS reporting standards
• Advanced ERP systems (SAP, Oracle, Microsoft Dynamics or equivalent) and advanced Excel
