Accounts Payable Specialist – Open Item Management & Receivables

About the role

Mercedes‑Benz Türk is looking for an experienced Accounts Payable Specialist to manage open items, perform reconciliations and support receivables processes within its Finance & Accounting team. The role works closely with Accounting, Sales, Legal, IT, Shared Services and Group Companies to improve cash collection and financial transparency.

Key responsibilities

• Monitor and manage all customer and vendor open items, preparing aging and overdue receivable reports.
• Analyze open items by scope, due date, aging and responsible department, coordinating timely resolution.
• Support receivable risk management, minimize overdue balances and coordinate doubtful receivable write‑offs.
• Prepare monthly and quarterly open‑item and aging reports, develop KPIs and present analyses to management.
• Report significant overdue receivables, legal cases and collection risks.
• Perform monthly customer and vendor account reconciliations with Group companies and resolve differences with finance teams.
• Respond to reconciliation requests from Group Companies and ensure timely confirmation.
• Execute dunning activities for overdue receivables in line with company policy and monitor responses.

Required profile

• Several years of experience in accounts payable/receivable, open‑item management and intercompany reconciliations.
• Analytical mindset with strong attention to detail.
• Ability to collaborate with multiple internal and external stakeholders.
• Comfort working in a data‑driven, international finance environment.
