Area Sales Manager - Construction Machinery

About the role

An Area Sales Manager with construction machinery experience is sought in Izmir. The role reports directly to the Sales Director and headquarters and covers building customer portfolios, managing a sales team and reaching quarterly and annual sales targets.

Key responsibilities

• Create and maintain customer portfolios and records, and develop tailored marketing strategies and sales processes for existing and target customers
• Develop and implement strategies to achieve sales targets, including quarterly and annual goals
• Manage, coach, train and evaluate the performance of the sales team
• Collaborate with the marketing team on campaigns and build strong relationships with customers and key accounts
• Support customers in adopting new products, resolve issues and identify and follow up on business opportunities
• Participate in key project sales and commercial negotiations and support order intake across product groups
• Implement cost control measures and collect and analyse market intelligence, monitoring performance metrics

Required profile

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Marketing, International Business, Engineering or a related field
• At least 5 years of sales and team management experience in construction machinery or heavy equipment
• Fluent English and a valid Class B driver's licence with active driving experience
• No restrictions for domestic and/or international travel
