Assembler

About the role

ABB is seeking an Assembler to support its Electrification Distribution Solutions unit in Dilovası, Kocaeli. The role involves assembling semi‑finished or final products, panels and systems on the shop floor while adhering to established processes and quality standards.

Key responsibilities

• Perform all types of assembly work, including packing, on integrated production lines.
• Use machinery, light hand tools, manipulators and cranes to build and handle components.
• Carry out regular quality testing according to defined procedures.
• Maintain a clean work area and follow standard operating procedures.
• Read and interpret technical diagrams and electrical drawings to guide assembly.

Required profile

• Graduate of a vocational school or high school in Electrical Installation, Panel Assembly or Automotive.
• Minimum 3 years of experience in production assembly.
• Ability to work in shifts and reside in Istanbul’s Anatolian side or Gebze region.
• Team‑oriented, disciplined and open to learning.

Required skills

• Interpretation of technical drawings and electrical projects.
• Experience with serial assembly lines.
• Knowledge of 5S, autonomous maintenance.
• Pneumatics and hydraulic systems.
• Proficiency with assembly hand tools.
• Sheet‑metal assembly operations.
• Manipulator and crane operation.
