Assembly Manufacturing Engineer

About the role

Join Ford Otosan as an Assembly Manufacturing Engineer to ensure new vehicle models are ready for mass production with targeted quality, cost and time. You will work on process design, automation and sustainability initiatives within the Yeniköy plant.

Key responsibilities

• Conduct feasibility studies and obtain approvals for new projects.
• Implement facility and process arrangements to minimise cost while maximising quality and efficiency.
• Coordinate investments to meet capacity requirements and collaborate with other manufacturing departments.
• Support new vehicle engineering development, evaluate assembly practices and guide project teams.
• Organise maintenance activities, manage breakdowns and downtimes on assembly lines.
• Ensure compliance with global control plans, ISO 45001, ISO 14001 and ISO 50001 standards.
• Drive continuous improvement in water, energy and waste reduction for sustainability.

Required profile

• Graduated from Mechanical Engineering or Electrical Engineering.
• Openness to re‑learning, curiosity and a strong focus on continuous improvement.
• Ability to work collaboratively across teams and communicate effectively.
• Adaptability to rapid changes and solution‑oriented mindset.

Required skills
