Assistant Procurement Manager for Raw Material Operations

About the role

The Assistant Procurement Manager will own an end‑to‑end procurement portfolio covering logistics services and raw‑material supplies for our ice‑cream production sites. You will link procurement initiatives with factory operations and the category P&L to drive cost efficiency, supply continuity and value creation.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and implement procurement strategies for logistics services and raw materials, ensuring quality, cost efficiency and reliable supply.
• Manage the full procurement cycle – sourcing, tendering, negotiation, contracting and supplier performance evaluation.
• Collaborate with supply‑chain, production, logistics and factory teams to meet operational requirements.
• Conduct market analysis, monitor cost trends and provide price forecasts to support decision‑making.
• Deliver KPIs such as savings, inflation mitigation, cash improvement and incident management.
• Strengthen supplier relationships and maintain a robust supplier portfolio.
• Ensure compliance with contracts, service‑level agreements, company policies and regulatory standards.
• Resolve operational procurement challenges quickly to guarantee uninterrupted supply.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Supply Chain, Engineering or a related field.
• 3–5+ years of procurement or supply‑chain experience, preferably in FMCG, logistics or raw‑material environments.
• Strong negotiation, contract management and supplier‑management capabilities.
• Analytical mindset with the ability to interpret market data and generate insights.
• Proficiency in procurement tools and MS Office; excellent English and Turkish communication skills.
• Excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to work in a fast‑paced, changing environment.
