Assistant Store Manager – Retail

About the role

The Assistant Store Manager supports the Store Manager in delivering an optimal client experience and driving store performance. You will lead the sales team, manage back‑office operations, visual merchandising and stock, while ensuring a welcoming environment for customers.

Key responsibilities

• Set daily customer service goals and oversee the selling process.
• Train, coach and provide feedback to the sales team on standards, product placement and time management.
• Monitor KPIs, analyse sales reports and recommend actions for improvement.
• Collaborate with visual merchandising to optimise displays and assess their impact on sales.
• Coordinate stock and back‑office teams, conduct regular stock checks and ensure product safety.
• Drive analytical merchandise management using reports and daily meetings to meet sales targets.

Required profile

• Minimum 3 years of experience in a similar retail management role.
• Fluent in English and Turkish; additional languages are a plus.
• Strong organisational, detail‑oriented and collaborative abilities.

Required skills

• Proficient use of Excel.
• Experience with RFID systems.
