Audit Associate (Remote, USA-Based)

About the role

Manay CPA is seeking a motivated Audit Associate to support a diverse portfolio of U.S. clients. This fully remote position offers hands‑on experience with U.S. GAAP, tax codes, and audit processes across multiple industries.

Key responsibilities

• Assist in onboarding new audit clients and set up audit workflows.
• Perform day‑to‑day audit tasks including risk assessment, planning, fieldwork, and work‑paper preparation.
• Prepare audit schedules, management letters, reconciliations, and other documentation in line with professional standards.
• Conduct substantive testing and analytical procedures to verify financial statement accuracy.
• Analyze financial data to identify trends, anomalies, and risk areas.
• Research complex auditing, accounting, and regulatory issues and provide practical solutions.
• Support U.S. federal and state compliance requirements, including year‑end reporting and filing.
• Collaborate on bookkeeping, tax return preparation, and financial reporting outside of peak audit periods.

• Ability to work independently in a remote environment while maintaining high quality standards.
• Strong analytical mindset and attention to detail.

Required skills

• Knowledge of US GAAP.
