Automation Engineer – Manufacturing Plant

About the role

Join Henkel as an Automation Engineer at the Ankara plant, supporting the reliability and efficiency of electrical and automation systems in a manufacturing environment. You will work within the Maintenance team to minimise downtime and improve equipment availability.

Key responsibilities

• Perform preventive and corrective electrical and automation maintenance on production equipment.
• Troubleshoot breakdowns, conduct root‑cause analysis and implement corrective actions.
• Support Siemens PLC (Step 7 / TIA Portal) and SCADA system maintenance and optimisation.
• Maintain accurate documentation in the maintenance management system.
• Collaborate with production, engineering and safety teams, including participation in Process Safety and HAZOP activities.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical and Electronics Engineering.
• 3–5 years of maintenance experience in an industrial setting.
• Hands‑on experience with electrical maintenance and industrial automation.
• Good command of written and spoken English.

Required skills

• Siemens PLC programming (Step 7 / TIA Portal).
• SCADA system operation and troubleshooting.
• Root‑cause analysis and preventive/predictive maintenance practices.
