Blog Contributor

About the role

Learner's Journal is a global platform connecting bloggers with readers, helping writers publish, grow their audience and refine their craft. It is looking for a Blog Contributor for a full-time, on-site position in Greater Ankara. The contributor researches topics, generates blog ideas and writes original, engaging articles in line with the editorial guidelines.

Key responsibilities

• Draft and revise blog posts, optimising them for web readability
• Research topics, generate ideas and write articles following editorial guidelines
• Collaborate with editors and other contributors to meet publishing schedules
• Monitor reader engagement, incorporate feedback and support basic promotion of published pieces

Required profile

• Strong writing skills, producing clear, engaging and grammatically correct posts
• Ability to research accurately, find credible sources and build well-informed content
• Experience with web content writing and blogging platforms
• Basic understanding of marketing principles to support content promotion
• Excellent command of English, with attention to detail and adherence to editorial guidelines
• A degree or coursework in Communications, Journalism, Literature or a related field is an advantage
