Business Controller

About the role

We are seeking a Business Controller to lead finance and accounting operations while providing business‑control insights that drive effective decision‑making across the organisation. You will work closely with senior management and a variety of internal and external stakeholders to ensure accurate reporting, compliance, and financial performance.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare, control and maintain the company’s full set of financial data, including balance sheets and income statements.
• Monitor cash flow to safeguard ongoing operations.
• Coordinate timely and flawless reporting to the group, collaborating with divisions, holding companies and finance hubs.
• Implement and oversee internal control processes and ensure alignment with group procedures and local regulations.
• Provide data for internal management reviews, business analyses and guidance to senior leadership.
• Identify and raise compliance risks to management.
• Support group and local projects that prepare the company for future business needs.
• Assist in preparation for internal and external audits.
• Coach the management team on financial awareness.

Required profile

• University degree in Economics, Business Administration or a related field.
• Several years of experience in finance and/or business control.
• Qualified accountant or strong understanding of accounting principles.
• Fluent in English; native Turkish language is required.
• Openness to change, proactive attitude and strong communication and analytical abilities.

Required skills

• Knowledge of IFRS accounting standards.
• Experience with BPCS and/or SAP systems.
• Familiarity with Atlas Copco’s Finance and Administration Manual (advantage).
