Business Development Manager – Car Rental (Turkey & Balkans)

About the role

We are looking for a Business Development Manager to lead our car‑rental partnership programme across Turkey and the Balkans. Reporting to regional leadership, you will be responsible for expanding our supplier network, negotiating commercial terms and driving revenue growth for Trip.com Group’s travel platform.

Key responsibilities

• Identify, evaluate and onboard local car‑rental partners to broaden supply coverage and improve product competitiveness.
• Negotiate pricing, contracts and renewal terms to secure favourable commercial agreements and enhance profitability.
• Manage day‑to‑day relationships with partners, monitoring KPIs such as revenue, conversion, availability, pricing competitiveness, content quality and customer experience.
• Conduct regular business reviews and joint growth initiatives to continuously improve partner performance.
• Analyse market trends, competitor activity and customer demand to uncover new partnership opportunities and optimise supply strategy.
• Collaborate with Product, Operations, Marketing, Finance and Technology teams to improve supplier integrations, support promotional campaigns and deliver tailored commercial solutions.
• Track and report supplier performance against commercial and operational KPIs, providing strategic recommendations to senior management.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Supply Chain, Management or a related field.
• 5+ years of experience in business development, sales or partnership management, preferably within the travel or mobility sector.
• Proven track record of acquiring and growing B2B relationships in a regional context.
• Strong analytical mindset with the ability to interpret market data and drive data‑based decisions.
• Excellent negotiation and communication skills in English; additional language proficiency for the region is a plus.
