Cargo Readiness Professional

About the role

CMA CGM is looking for a Cargo Readiness Professional in Istanbul. The role manages local export cargo loadings by being more proactive, which reduces rollover and shortfall, increases vessel filling factor and improves data integrity through corporate tools and reports.

Key responsibilities

• Contact customers and re-confirm the loading intention of their bookings
• Perform pre-call cleaning: ensure all required documentation (customs, operations, destination customs forms such as VGM, SI, DG forms) is submitted before export cargo loading
• Handle journey leg controls and routing controls
• Monitor and update the FCL cut-off in I-Cut-off
• Update all business-related reports and manage cut instructions
• Manage activities arising from operational contingencies
• Act as the entry point for operations matters within Customer Care Direction
• Analyse KPIs and customer behaviour patterns to inform readiness decisions

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in Logistics, Transport, International Trade or a related field
• 1 year of relevant experience in shipping, logistics or a related industry preferred
• Fluent written and spoken English; part of the interview takes place in English
• Able to work 4 days per week in the office (hybrid)
