Cartography Engineer – Full-time

About the role

Akmercan Şirketler Grubu is looking for a full‑time Cartography Engineer to support its construction and energy projects. The position is based in Zonguldak and requires hands‑on work with geographic information systems and surveying tools.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and maintain GIS databases for infrastructure projects.
• Perform field surveys using Total Station equipment.
• Create and edit technical drawings with Microstation and Netcad.
• Generate maps and spatial analyses to support engineering teams.
• Collaborate with project managers to ensure data accuracy and timely delivery.

Required profile

• Graduated from a Cartography/Survey Engineering program.
• Minimum two years of professional experience in GIS and database projects.
• Male candidates must have completed mandatory military service.
• Residence in Zonguldak or willingness to relocate.

Required skills

• Proficiency with GIS software and database concepts.
• Experience using Total Station for field measurements.
• Advanced knowledge of Microstation and Netcad.
• Strong command of Microsoft Office applications.
• Working knowledge of SQL Server.
