Category Management Executive

About the role

Yemeksepeti, part of the Delivery Hero Group, is looking for a Category Management Executive in Istanbul. The role covers category strategy, supplier management, assortment building and pricing, and works closely with internal stakeholders and cross-functional teams.

Key responsibilities

• Analyze market data, internal data and customer needs for the assigned category
• Develop category strategy and manage category management processes
• Manage non-food categories and develop category strategies aligned with market trends and customer needs
• Select the most suitable suppliers and manage contracts, orders and supply end-to-end
• Manage procurement to achieve annual procurement goals
• Build and maintain strong business relationships with suppliers
• Own assortment building, pricing and profitability of the category
• Plan and implement campaigns and promotions to increase sales
• Collaborate with internal stakeholders and cross-functional teams

Required profile

• University graduate from a relevant department
• At least 3 years of purchasing experience in retail, merchandising, FMCG or food
• Experience in non-food category management is a strong plus
• Good command of written and spoken English

Required skills

• Advanced MS Office skills
• Sourcing products from suppliers at the right quality, on time and at reasonable prices
• Strong analytical, communication and stakeholder management skills
• High persuasion and negotiation skills
