Cluster Group & Banquet Sales Executive

About the role

The Cluster Group & Banquet Sales Executive will drive group and banquet revenue for Rixos Tersane Istanbul, handling enquiries, preparing proposals and nurturing client relationships.

Key responsibilities

• Manage group and banquet enquiries, prepare proposals aligned with pricing and strategy, and follow up to convert them into contracts.
• Maintain and grow relationships with existing and past accounts, re‑engage inactive clients and generate repeat business.
• Enter reservations accurately in hotel systems and coordinate details with Front Office, Housekeeping, F&B, Banquet and other departments.
• Identify upselling and cross‑selling opportunities across rooms, restaurants and event spaces, and support revenue protection against cancellations.
• Monitor Istanbul’s event calendar, competitor activity and market trends to uncover new sales opportunities.
• Prepare weekly forecasts, reports and sales analyses, and collaborate with Sales, Revenue, Marketing and Operations teams.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Hospitality Management, Tourism, Business Administration, Marketing or related field.
• Proven experience in group, banquet or MICE sales within luxury hospitality.
• Strong commercial awareness, excellent communication and client‑relationship skills.
• Ability to manage multiple clients and events simultaneously and work proactively in a fast‑paced environment.

Required skills

• Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications.
• Experience with hotel PMS, CRM or sales systems.
