Commercial Buyer

About the role

As a Commercial Buyer at Bosch you will help shape technology solutions across mobility, consumer goods, industrial and energy sectors, ensuring that supplier relationships deliver value, quality and reliability for a global customer base.

Key responsibilities

• Manage the supplier relationship for a defined set of suppliers, acting as the "voice to the supplier" within the category.
• Negotiate contracts, business terms and conduct annual price negotiations.
• Perform supplier risk management, both preventive and reactive.
• Assume quality responsibility in cooperation with the Purchasing Quality team.
• Manage supplier capacities together with the Logistics team.
• Handle escalations (delivery, quality) according to the defined escalation model.
• Contribute to the development and implementation of the category strategy with inputs from the region, product lines and suppliers.
• Provide relevant purchasing data for ERP systems.
• Lead RFQ processes when appointed by the category manager.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering or a related field.
• Several years of experience in procurement.
• Strong negotiation skills.
• Analytical and professional working style.
• Ability to work in a self‑organized and self‑responsible manner.
• Good English proficiency and soft skills for working across different cultures.
• Confident personality to promote ideas across interfaces.
