Commercial Controller

About the role

The Controlling department at Ferrero acts as a business partner, providing analysis and guidance to support decision‑making. Based in Istanbul, the Commercial Controller will work closely with the Commercial Controlling Manager and cross‑functional teams to safeguard and improve Ferrero’s financial performance and competitiveness.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare weekly simulations of monthly net sales for Turkey and the IPA region.
• Develop financial simulations for new pricing scenarios and forecast periods.
• Report variances between commercial budgets and forecasts, highlighting risks and opportunities.
• Conduct ROI calculations for investments and track actual versus forecast performance.
• Provide periodic reports for Sales and Marketing to evaluate pre‑ and post‑campaign results.
• Control and approve purchase orders related to discounts, promotions, media, market research, and other marketing purchases.
• Support sales and marketing teams during monthly closing activities with analysis and specific information.
• Prepare, validate, and publish internal and group reports on Marketing & Sales KPIs and financials.
• Analyze product pricing, customer trade terms, and agreements.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree.
• Approximately 5 years of proven experience in commercial controlling or a similar finance role.
• Strong analytical thinking and proactive, strategic mindset.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English.

Required skills

• Experience with SAP.
