Commercial Management Director – Surgical

About the role

Alcon is seeking a Commercial Management Director – Surgical to lead its Turkey Surgical Business Unit. You will shape local strategy, drive commercial excellence and lead a high‑performing team to deliver sustainable growth and strengthen Alcon’s market position.

Key responsibilities

• Translate global strategy into actionable local plans that accelerate growth.
• Lead cross‑functional teams to achieve sales, market share and profitability targets while maintaining the highest ethical standards.
• Oversee commercial operations including distributor governance, tender strategy and market access initiatives.
• Collaborate with Finance, Regulatory, Legal, Supply and Compliance to ensure operational excellence and business continuity.
• Engage key stakeholders across healthcare, policy and customer ecosystems to expand access to Alcon’s surgical portfolio.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree required; MBA or equivalent strongly preferred.
• 12+ years of commercial leadership experience in MedTech, pharmaceuticals or healthcare with proven P&L ownership.
• Strategic thinker with a bias for action, inclusive leader who builds strong teams.
• High integrity, resilience and ability to navigate complex stakeholder environments.

Required skills

• Expertise in commercial strategy, sales leadership and marketing execution.
• Strong understanding of tendering, reimbursement and market access frameworks.
• Proficiency in data‑driven decision making, CRM utilization and digital customer engagement.
