Communication Expert

About the role

IPCEU International Project Consultancy Inc. seeks a Communication Expert to lead communication, visibility and public outreach for EU, UN, Council of Europe and other internationally funded projects. The role involves developing strategies, managing social media and producing bilingual content.

Key responsibilities

• Develop, implement and update communication and visibility strategies and action plans for each project.
• Ensure all activities comply with donor guidelines, especially EU Communication and Visibility Requirements.
• Manage project social media accounts: create content, schedule posts, run campaigns and monitor performance.
• Produce high‑quality communication materials in English and Turkish, including press releases, news articles, success stories, newsletters and social media posts.
• Coordinate media relations, public outreach and digital communication campaigns.
• Oversee the design and production of promotional, printed and digital visibility materials.
• Collaborate with project teams, beneficiary institutions and stakeholders to maintain consistent messaging.
• Monitor and evaluate communication activities, reporting on effectiveness and contributing to project progress reports.

Required profile

• University degree in Communications, Public Relations, Media Studies, Journalism or related field.
• Minimum 5 years of experience in EU, UN or Council of Europe funded projects.
• Proven track record as a Communication Expert in internationally funded projects.
• Strong command of written and spoken English and Turkish.
• Excellent organisational, coordination and time‑management abilities.

Required skills

• Expert knowledge of EU Communication and Visibility Rules and donor branding guidelines.
• Social media management, content development and digital engagement.
• Graphic design tools: Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign, Canva (or similar).
• Preparation of communication materials: press releases, newsletters, success stories, articles.
