Community & Social Media Intern (Part-Time)

About the role

A part-time Community & Social Media Intern is needed to support the communities around mobile and PC games, with some involvement in social media activities. No professional experience is required: the team looks for good communication skills, initiative and a willingness to learn alongside them. The internship is based in Ankara, with at least 2 days per week on site.

Key responsibilities

• Help build and maintain welcoming, active communities on platforms such as Discord, Steam and Reddit
• Join conversations with players, answer questions with the team's support and assist with day-to-day community moderation
• Gather player feedback, suggestions and reported issues and help communicate them to the development and publishing teams
• Help organise community activities, discussions and events
• Explore gaming communities, streamers and content creators on Twitch, Kick, YouTube and similar platforms and support community outreach
• Help plan and publish game updates, announcements and community highlights using team assets
• Use AI tools to help with research, ideas and writing, then check that the results fit the games and audience
• Track community activity and engagement to understand what players care about

Required profile

• University student interested in community management and the gaming industry
• Passion for games and curiosity about gaming culture, player behaviour and different audiences
• Friendly, thoughtful communication style and interest in listening to and helping players
• Some familiarity with gaming communities (Discord, Steam, Reddit) and basic awareness of gaming streams and content creators
• Interest in social media and willingness to learn how to manage accounts and adapt posts for different audiences
• Good written English to communicate with international players
• Reliable, organised and collaborative approach

Required skills

• Basic hands-on familiarity with AI tools such as ChatGPT, Claude or Gemini
• Nice to have: experience running a Discord server, fan community or student club, organising small events, and basic image or video editing with tools such as Canva, CapCut or Photoshop
