Continuous Improvement (CI) Engineer

About the role

jci is looking for a Continuous Improvement (CI) Engineer to lead improvement initiatives across its manufacturing operations. The role focuses on boosting productivity, quality, safety and cost performance through Lean Manufacturing and operational excellence.

Key responsibilities

• Lead continuous improvement initiatives across manufacturing operations.
• Identify opportunities to improve productivity, quality, safety and cost performance.
• Support the implementation of Lean Manufacturing and operational excellence projects.
• Track and report improvement results and their business impact.
• Facilitate Kaizen events, root cause analysis and problem-solving activities.
• Analyze production data to find improvement opportunities.
• Partner with manufacturing, quality, supply chain and engineering teams.
• Promote a culture of continuous improvement throughout the organization.

Required profile

• Solid experience in continuous improvement, Lean Manufacturing or operational excellence.
• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Industrial Engineering or a related field preferred.
• Ability to influence and engage stakeholders at different levels.

Required skills

• Knowledge of Lean, Six Sigma, Kaizen, 5S and problem-solving methodologies.
• Strong analytical and project management skills.
