Contract Management Specialist – Legal

About the role

Join Ford Otosan’s Legal & Compliance team as a Contract Management Specialist. Reporting to the Contract Management Leader, you will operate at the crossroads of law, business, and innovation within one of Turkey’s leading industrial companies.

Key responsibilities

• Draft, review, negotiate and manage a wide range of local and international commercial contracts.
• Provide practical, solution‑oriented legal advice to internal departments and support complex transaction structuring.
• Ensure contractual arrangements align with company policies, compliance requirements, risk appetite and strategic goals.
• Support the development and governance of the contract management framework.
• Incorporate lessons learned and market best practices into contract templates.
• Advise on commercial, compliance, corporate and intellectual property matters.
• Design and deliver legal training programs for business teams.
• Contribute to legal operations, digitalisation, process improvement and compliance initiatives.
• Collaborate with local and global stakeholders across functions, business units and international markets.

Required profile

• Law degree (LL.B) – LL.M preferred, especially in Private Law.
• Minimum five years of legal experience, preferably in a reputable law firm or large multinational/industrial company.
• Experience in drafting, negotiating and managing complex commercial agreements (e.g., business development, technology licences, loans, projects, M&A, distribution).
• Strong commercial mindset, sound business judgment and a proactive problem‑solving attitude.
• Ability to work independently, prioritize multiple high‑impact matters and drive them to completion.

Required skills

• Advanced reading and speaking proficiency in English.
• Knowledge of Competition Law and Intellectual Property Law (automotive industry experience is a plus).
• Strong understanding of commercial risk assessment and contract negotiation strategies.
