Corporate Compliance Assistant Officer

About the role

SunExpress, a joint venture between Lufthansa and Turkish Airlines founded in 1989, offers direct flights between Europe and Turkey and has its headquarters in Antalya and Frankfurt/Main. It is looking for a Corporate Compliance Assistant Officer to support the Corporate Compliance Officer and guide business units on compliance matters.

Key responsibilities

• Provide guidance to business units on compliance matters and help them draft and enforce their own procedures in line with corporate compliance rules.
• Prepare and update the Corporate Compliance Manual and monitor internal rules, policies and procedures, reporting findings to the Corporate Compliance Officer.
• Monitor national and international sanctions and export control restrictions, and coordinate with business units and external parties.
• Monitor national and international competition regulations and review company agreements against compliance rules.
• Follow up the Corporate Compliance Digital Program, guiding business units on sponsorship, gifts, events, donations and membership.
• Assist in drafting and updating the Corporate Compliance Training and organize it, then follow up with attendees.
• Help the Corporate Compliance Officer prepare the Annual Compliance Report.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in Law from a reputable university.
• At least 5 years of experience and knowledge of the company's organization and functions.
• Experience with regulations and managerial-level responsibility.
• Good command of English.
• Suitable for scheduled and unscheduled travel.

Required skills

• Ability to use computers, including MS Office applications.
