Country Financial Controller

About the role

Saint-Gobain Türkiye, part of the worldwide construction group Saint-Gobain, is looking for a Country Financial Controller to join its Finance team. The role leads country-level financial planning, reporting and performance management, giving strategic financial insight to support business decisions. It works closely with senior management and business finance teams and drives continuous improvement and transformation within the Finance organization.

Key responsibilities

• Lead and coordinate annual budgeting, rolling forecasts and long-term financial planning across businesses.
• Coordinate monthly closing and country reporting to ensure accurate, consistent and timely financial information.
• Analyze financial performance (P&L, balance sheet, cash flow, sales, margins, costs, working capital and CAPEX).
• Perform actuals versus budget, forecast and prior-year analyses, identifying key drivers, risks and opportunities.
• Prepare management reports, dashboards and presentations for the Country CFO, Country CEO and senior stakeholders.
• Develop financial simulations, business cases and cross-business analyses.
• Monitor macroeconomic developments and their financial impact.
• Work with Business Finance Directors, FP&A teams and functional leaders to improve profitability and cash generation.
• Drive simplification, standardization, automation and digital transformation of Finance processes and reporting tools.
• Manage, coach and develop the country controlling team.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, Business Administration or a related field.
• Solid experience in financial controlling, FP&A or business finance, preferably in an industrial, multinational or multi-business environment.
• Fluency in English and Turkish, written and spoken.
• Proven ability to manage multiple priorities and deliver results under tight deadlines, and experience managing or coordinating teams.

Required skills

• Strong knowledge of budgeting, forecasting, monthly closing and management reporting.
• Advanced understanding of financial statements, working capital management, profitability analysis and financial modelling.
• Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint.
• Preferred: Power BI, ERP systems, financial planning and consolidation tools, and experience in Finance transformation projects.
