Country Financial Controller, Türkiye

About the role

The Country Financial Controller for Turkey will lead the Controllership organization, overseeing accounting, tax, and statutory reporting while ensuring compliance with US GAAP, local regulations, and SOX requirements.

Key responsibilities

• Lead and develop the Turkey Controllership function, fostering a collaborative, high‑performing team.
• Ensure accurate and timely monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reporting in compliance with US GAAP and local statutory requirements.
• Oversee financial analysis, balance‑sheet reconciliations, and reporting activities to support transparent decision‑making.
• Partner with auditors, tax advisors, and regional finance teams to maintain strong governance and compliance.
• Promote a robust internal controls framework, supporting SOX compliance, audit readiness, and continuous process improvement.
• Coach, mentor, and develop team members, creating succession plans and career growth opportunities.
• Collaborate across the business to identify efficiencies and strengthen financial processes.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Finance, Economics or related field; professional accounting qualification (CPA, ACCA, CIMA, CA) preferred.
• Extensive experience in finance and accounting within a multinational environment, including financial reporting, statutory accounting, compliance, and governance.
• Demonstrated experience leading and developing teams with a focus on coaching and inclusive culture.
• Strong analytical, communication, and stakeholder‑management skills.
• Fluency in Turkish and English.

Required skills

• Knowledge of US GAAP and IFRS.
• Experience with internal controls and SOX compliance.
• Understanding of Turkish tax regulations and statutory reporting requirements.
