Creative Director – Advisors Creative Desk (EMEA)

About the role

Mastercard’s Advisors Creative Desk (ACD) in the EMEA region is seeking a senior Creative Director to shape and champion the creative vision across multiple markets and client projects. The role combines strategic leadership with hands‑on oversight to ensure that all creative output drives measurable business impact and reinforces brand value.

Key responsibilities

• Define and protect the creative ambition for ACD EEMEA, maintaining the highest standards of originality and craft.
• Act as the final creative authority on major initiatives, providing clear direction, decisive feedback, and consistent judgement across markets.
• Partner with senior strategy, client, and leadership teams to influence briefs, priorities, and creative ambition upstream.
• Build and sustain a strong creative culture by setting expectations, role‑modeling excellence, and challenging teams to exceed expectations.
• Develop senior creative talent, identifying strengths, gaps, and growth paths.
• Oversee creative quality across campaigns, platforms, and systems, spotting patterns and emerging opportunities.
• Represent ACD EEMEA internally and externally to strengthen its creative reputation.

Required profile

• Minimum 15 years of experience in creative leadership, preferably within a global brand or agency environment.
• Proven track record of delivering high‑impact, on‑brand creative solutions at scale.
• Strong ability to influence senior stakeholders and collaborate across diverse teams.
• Demonstrated talent for building and mentoring senior creative teams.
