Creative Director – Advisors Creative Desk

About the role

Mastercard is looking for a senior Creative Director to lead the Advisors Creative Desk (ACD) across the EEMEA region. You will set the creative vision, raise the standard of craft, and ensure that ideas deliver meaningful business impact at scale while collaborating with strategy, clients, and internal stakeholders.

Key responsibilities

• Define and guard the creative ambition for ACD EEMEA, ensuring the highest standards of thinking, craft, and originality.
• Act as the final creative authority on major initiatives, providing clear direction, decisive feedback, and sound judgement across markets and accounts.
• Shape how ideas are framed, sold, and brought to life, guaranteeing that creative work drives business outcomes and long‑term brand value.
• Partner with senior strategy, client, and leadership teams to influence briefs, priorities, and creative ambition upstream.
• Build and sustain a strong creative culture by setting expectations, role‑modeling excellence, and challenging teams to push beyond the expected.
• Develop senior creative talent, identifying strengths, gaps, and growth paths across the organization.
• Oversee creative quality across campaigns, platforms, and systems, without managing day‑to‑day execution.
• Spot patterns, opportunities, and emerging signals across markets to inform future creative direction.
• Represent ACD EEMEA creatively both internally and externally, strengthening its reputation and standing.

Required profile

• Minimum 15 years of experience in creative leadership roles within full‑service advertising environments.
• Proven track record of delivering business‑impactful creative solutions at scale.
• Strong leadership and mentorship abilities, with experience developing senior talent.
• Excellent strategic thinking and the ability to influence senior stakeholders.
