Creative Team Lead – AI & Performance Marketing

About the role

CapsLock is seeking a Creative Team Lead who blends design expertise, marketing insight, and AI know‑how to build high‑performing visual assets for paid media campaigns. You will expand a team of AI‑driven designers, shape the creative engine, and ensure every visual drives measurable results.

Key responsibilities

• Lead, mentor and grow a team of 3‑6 AI‑driven Creative Designers, focusing on both people development and output quality.
• Own the end‑to‑end production flow, including task distribution, capacity planning and rigorous quality control.
• Define creative direction—concepts, hooks and visual angles—that capture attention and convert.
• Manage the creative testing loop, building a database of winners, analysing failures and iterating based on performance data.
• Stay hands‑on with Figma, Adobe Creative Suite and AI image platforms, troubleshooting and creating complex assets as needed.
• Collaborate closely with Creative Producers, Marketers, Copywriters, Media Buyers and Video Editors to align strategy and meet deadlines.

Required profile

• 5+ years of leadership experience managing creative/design teams in digital marketing.
• Proven ability to establish clear processes, resolve conflicts and deliver projects on time with top‑tier quality.
• Strong visual craft knowledge (composition, lighting, colour, typography, anatomy) and the ability to articulate creative decisions.
• Deep understanding of performance marketing creatives for platforms such as Google and Meta, and how visual choices impact CTR, CPA and conversion rates.

Required skills

• Proficiency in Figma and Adobe Creative Suite.
• Hands‑on experience with modern AI image platforms (e.g., Figma Weave, Higgsfield, Magnific, Runway) and prompt engineering.
• Ability to integrate AI‑generated outputs into traditional design pipelines.
• Fluency in English, both spoken and written.
