Credit Risk Senior Manager

About the role

EY Turkey is seeking a senior professional to lead credit risk advisory projects within its Financial Services Risk Management practice. The role involves guiding client engagements, shaping credit risk strategies, and ensuring regulatory compliance.

Key responsibilities

• Lead engagement teams, managing project scope, budget, staffing and client coordination.
• Advise clients on credit risk modelling, validation, IFRS 9, Basel IV, climate‑related financial risks and regulatory reporting.
• Design and implement credit decision support systems, credit policies, monitoring and early‑warning tools.

Required profile

• University degree in finance, mathematics, statistics, economics, engineering, data science or related field; MBA or MS preferred.
• Minimum 8 years of experience in banking or capital markets credit risk management or advisory.
• Strong analytical, problem‑solving and project‑management skills; ability to communicate with senior financial‑institution stakeholders.

Required skills

• Proficiency in R, Python, SQL, SAS or similar analytical programming environments.
• Experience with credit risk modelling, validation, IFRS 9 impairment, Basel IV, and climate‑risk frameworks.
