Customer Development Manager – Indirect Trade

About the role

The Customer Development Manager – Indirect Trade will drive sustainable growth for Colgate‑Palmolive in Turkey by managing distributor relationships, increasing market share, and ensuring product availability across retail channels.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and support partnerships with distributors at store and regional levels to meet sales targets.
• Negotiate new product listings, planograms, displays, and promotional execution.
• Collaborate with the Sales Development Manager to create merchandising tools and in‑store programs.
• Monitor and enforce the 5P framework: product availability, assortment, pricing, promotion implementation, and shelf placement.
• Conduct pre‑ and post‑activity evaluations, using what‑if analysis and financial inputs.
• Manage distributor inventory levels and ensure stock availability.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Economics, Social Sciences or related field.
• Minimum 5 years of customer, category and distributor management experience in the FMCG industry.
• Strong P&L literacy and negotiation capabilities.
• Fluent in English and Turkish.
