Customer Service Representative

About the role

We are seeking a proactive Customer Service Representative to join WACKER’s Sales Team in Istanbul. The role focuses on delivering excellent customer satisfaction by handling orders, maintaining master data, and supporting business growth through effective communication and collaboration with internal departments.

Key responsibilities

• Maintain customer master data, pricing information and manage order entry, modifications, delivery tracking and exception handling.
• Process sample orders, handle complaints, returns and complex service issues.
• Manage invoice collection, credit/debit notes and rebate processing.
• Support customers via digital platforms such as EDI, e‑Invoicing, online ordering systems and promote e‑business adoption.
• Build and sustain strong customer relationships through proactive communication.
• Collaborate with Sales Managers, Supply Chain, Logistics, Export, Credit, Technical Service and Marketing to resolve issues efficiently.
• Identify buying opportunities, analyse customer data and participate in customer visits when required.

Required profile

• University degree or equivalent; vocational/commercial training preferred.
• Minimum 2 years of experience in customer service, order management or related sales support.
• Strong analytical mindset and ability to work cross‑functionally.
• Excellent communication skills in English; Turkish is a plus.

Required skills

• SAP (E‑Business) usage.
• Electronic Data Interchange (EDI) and e‑Invoicing platforms.
• Salesforce or other CRM tools.
• Experience with digital/e‑business ordering systems.
