Customer Service Representative – Sales Support

About the role

WACKER is seeking a proactive Customer Service Representative to join its Sales Team. The role focuses on delivering excellent customer satisfaction by managing orders, maintaining master data, and supporting business growth through effective communication and collaboration with internal departments.

Key responsibilities

• Maintain customer master data, pricing information, and order records.
• Enter, modify, and track customer orders, handling exceptions and delivery tracking.
• Process sample orders, manage complaints, returns, and complex service issues.
• Oversee invoice collection, credit/debit notes, and rebate processing.
• Support customers via digital platforms such as EDI, e‑Invoicing, and online ordering systems.
• Promote e‑business adoption and build strong customer relationships through proactive communication.
• Collaborate with Sales Managers, Supply Chain, Logistics, Export, Credit, Technical Service, and Marketing to resolve issues.
• Identify buying opportunities, participate in customer visits, and contribute to process‑improvement projects.

Required profile

• University degree or equivalent qualification; vocational or commercial training preferred.
• Minimum 2 years of experience in customer service, order management, or a similar function.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills in English.

• SAP (order management module).
• Electronic Data Interchange (EDI) and e‑Invoicing platforms.
• Online ordering systems and other digital/e‑business tools.
• Salesforce or similar CRM systems.
