Cyber Security Specialist

About the role

Join the cyber security team at Istanbul Sabiha Gökçen International Airport and help protect a critical aviation infrastructure. You will work on monitoring, detecting, and responding to security incidents while continuously improving the airport’s digital defenses.

Key responsibilities

• Monitor, analyze, and respond to cyber security events and incidents.
• Administer and operate security technologies such as SIEM, firewalls, IDS/IPS, WAF and DLP.
• Identify vulnerabilities, support remediation, and participate in vulnerability assessments.
• Analyze network and system logs to detect suspicious activity.
• Support the implementation and maintenance of information security policies and procedures.
• Collaborate with IT teams to strengthen security controls and improve cyber resilience.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer, Software, Electrical & Electronics Engineering or a related field.
• 3–5 years of experience in cyber security, information security, system or network administration.
• Strong analytical thinking, problem‑solving and communication skills.
• Advanced written and spoken English proficiency.

Required skills

• Experience with SIEM, firewalls, IDS/IPS, WAF, DLP.
• Good understanding of TCP/IP, network protocols and network security concepts.
• Hands‑on experience with Windows and Linux operating systems.
• Log analysis, threat detection and security event investigation.
• Familiarity with vulnerability management processes.
• Knowledge of platforms such as Tenable, Picus, XDR or similar.
• Relevant certifications (e.g., CEH, Security+, Network+, Palo Alto).
