Data Analyst – Fraud Prevention Analytics

About the role

We are looking for a Data Analyst specialized in fraud prevention analytics to join our technology team. You will work with large data sets to uncover fraud patterns, support rule creation, and strengthen transaction security across our banking channels.

Key responsibilities

• Analyze extensive data to detect evolving and differentiated fraud cases.
• Support the creation of fraud‑prevention rules on fraud systems using data‑analytics methods.
• Create inputs for scoring models, ensuring data accuracy and diversity.
• Identify procedural and logical security gaps in channel and payment‑system infrastructures and propose preventive measures.
• Analyze business processes for transaction security, execute related projects, and provide recommendations.
• Monitor domestic and international security trends and take proactive measures.
• Translate business requirements into technical specifications.
• Collaborate with third‑party fraud‑prevention tools, keeping them up‑to‑date.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in a quantitative field (Engineering, Economics, Mathematics, Econometrics, Statistics).
• 3+ years of experience as a Business Analyst, Fraud Analyst, Data Analyst, or in payment‑systems projects within banking or financial services.
• Hands‑on experience integrating third‑party fraud‑prevention tools into banking systems.
• Strong knowledge of business‑analysis best practices across the development lifecycle.
• Advanced proficiency in SQL.
