Database & Drafting Assistant – Geological Engineering

About the role

Lidya Madencilik is looking for a Database & Drafting Assistant to join its growing team. The role suits an early-career geological engineer and supports the management, quality control and spatial analysis of exploration data across the head office and project sites.

Key responsibilities

• Coordinate data transfer between the head office and project sites.
• Manage the geological database in line with international standards.
• Implement QA/QC protocols and ensure data quality and control.
• Analyze and map spatial data, and prepare and analyze drilling and surface data using GIS software.
• Keep data up to date and accessible, digitize non-digital data, and carry out studies for sites under tender or bid evaluation.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in Geological Engineering.
• Recent graduate or up to 1 year of professional experience.
• Ability to work in coordination with different disciplines and teams across the company.
• Resides in Ankara or is willing to relocate there, with no restrictions on travel to project sites.

Required skills

• Advanced proficiency in MS Office applications.
• Prior experience with at least one of: MapInfo Pro, Discover, Datamine, Datashed, MX Deposit or similar.
