Delivery Driver – Transportation Operations

About the role

Cencora is seeking a reliable Delivery Driver to execute pickup and delivery of shipments, including medical samples and products, across assigned routes. The role supports the company’s mission to improve health outcomes by ensuring timely and safe transport.

Key responsibilities

• Execute pickup and delivery activities for assigned shipments in accordance with timing, handling, and documentation requirements.
• Verify shipment details, obtain required signatures or proof of delivery, and maintain accurate transport records.
• Transport materials, products, and medical samples following route plans, temperature controls, and applicable transportation regulations.
• Communicate delivery status, delays, and shipment exceptions to support timely issue resolution.
• Support loading, unloading, packaging, and labeling activities to protect shipment integrity.
• Monitor vehicle condition and packaging supply levels, escalating maintenance needs or stock shortages.
• Provide assistance for specialized transport activities such as transfer‑point, airport, hand‑to‑hand, and adjusted schedule assignments.

Required profile

• High School Diploma/GED or equivalent.
• Less than 2 years of experience in transportation, logistics, courier operations, delivery services, or a related field.
• Certification in dangerous goods awareness, licensure for the applicable vehicle class, and cold‑chain handling.
