Demand Manager

About the role

Baymak, a leading HVAC manufacturer in Turkey, is seeking a Demand Manager to own and maintain the market demand plan across a 0‑18 month horizon. The role supports business growth through strategic forecasting, stakeholder collaboration and continuous improvement of forecast accuracy.

Key responsibilities

• Own the rolling market demand plan using SAP IBP as the single source of truth.
• Lead monthly demand reviews with Sales, Marketing and Finance, challenging inputs and securing a unified demand plan.
• Enrich statistical baselines with market intelligence such as promotions, tenders, regulatory changes and competitor activity.
• Monitor forecast accuracy and bias, analyse deviations and drive corrective actions.
• Integrate product lifecycle events—launches, phase‑ins/outs, cannibalisation—into the demand plan.
• Represent the market in Group S&OP and IBP processes, communicating assumptions, risks and escalations.
• Translate supply constraints into clear messages for Sales and support prioritisation during shortages.

Required profile

• Minimum 10 years of experience in Demand Planning, S&OP or Commercial Planning within a multi‑channel manufacturing or distribution environment.
• Strong analytical and problem‑solving skills with advanced Excel proficiency.
• Fluent in English, both written and spoken.
• Ability to work in a matrix organisation and challenge senior commercial stakeholders constructively.
