Deputy General Manager, Facility Management Operations

About the role

The Deputy General Manager will lead and oversee the corporate services businesses of a multi‑company group, driving operational efficiency, service quality and profitability across several business lines.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and execute business strategies aligned with the group’s overall objectives.
• Establish and monitor financial and operational KPIs, budgets and performance targets.
• Identify opportunities for growth, process improvement and cost optimisation.
• Allocate resources and plan workforce across diverse operations.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with key clients, partners and internal stakeholders.
• Lead senior management teams, fostering a culture of accountability and continuous improvement.
• Ensure compliance with regulations, contractual obligations and occupational health and safety standards.
• Report business performance, strategic priorities and operational results to senior group management.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Engineering or a related field (post‑graduate degree a plus).
• Minimum 15 years of senior management, operations or corporate services experience.
• Proven leadership in service‑oriented businesses such as security, cleaning, facility management, technical services or equipment rental.
• Experience managing multiple business lines, large teams and complex operational structures.
• Strong business acumen with P&L management, budgeting and profitability improvement.
• Track record of developing and implementing business strategies and operational transformation initiatives.
• Excellent communication, negotiation and stakeholder management skills.
• Strong analytical and decision‑making capabilities.
