Design Engineer – Mechanical Systems

About the role

IDAK AeroSystems is seeking a full‑time Design Engineer to develop and refine mechanical components and systems for aerospace hydraulics and actuation solutions. The position is based on‑site in Ankara, Turkey and involves the complete product lifecycle from concept to validation.

Key responsibilities

• Create and update 3D CAD models and 2D manufacturing drawings using tools such as CATIA or NX.
• Perform fluid‑dynamics, thermal and structural analyses to validate designs against aerospace standards.
• Prepare technical documentation, design specifications and compliance reports.
• Collaborate with mechanical, electrical, systems, manufacturing, quality and test teams to resolve design issues and support prototyping, testing and qualification activities.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree or higher in Mechanical Engineering, Aerospace Engineering or a related discipline.
• Strong knowledge of hydraulics, materials and structural design for high‑reliability aerospace systems.
• Experience working in aerospace or other high‑reliability industries is beneficial.
• Fluent English; Turkish language skills are an advantage.
