Deskside Support Engineer

About the role

Swiss IT Solutions CH GmbH provides on-demand IT support services to clients worldwide, including on-site engineering resources, server and network maintenance and cloud computing services. It is hiring a full-time, on-site Deskside Support Engineer based in Greater Istanbul, who will provide hands-on technical support to end users in a professional business environment.

Key responsibilities

• Diagnose and resolve hardware and software issues
• Support operating systems and standard applications
• Handle workstation setup, configuration and replacement
• Respond to support requests and manage incidents
• Document solutions and escalate complex issues when necessary
• Work with internal teams and external stakeholders to keep customers satisfied and IT standards high

Required profile

• Relevant experience in deskside or field support in a corporate environment
• Ability to communicate clearly with non-technical users and document issues and resolutions
• Organized work habits, reliability and ability to prioritize multiple requests
• Fluency in English; Turkish and/or German is an advantage
• Vocational training, certification (e.g. CompTIA A+, Microsoft, ITIL) or equivalent practical experience in IT support

Required skills

• Strong troubleshooting and technical support skills
• Customer support and customer service skills focused on user satisfaction
• Knowledge of operating systems such as Windows and macOS, and common enterprise tools
• Basic networking concepts
