DevOps Engineer – E‑Commerce Platform

About the role

We are seeking a DevOps / SRE Engineer to own and evolve our cloud infrastructure, deployment pipelines, and reliability practices for a high‑traffic e‑commerce platform. You will work closely with engineering teams to build a scalable, secure, and resilient environment using modern automation and AI‑assisted operations.

Key responsibilities

• Design, build, and maintain infrastructure‑as‑code (Terraform) across all environments.
• Own and evolve CI/CD pipelines (GitLab CI, GitHub Actions, Jenkins) for safe, frequent microservice releases.
• Operate and scale container platforms (AWS EKS/ECS, Docker, Kubernetes, Helm) including autoscaling and rollout strategies.
• Implement end‑to‑end observability (metrics, logs, tracing, dashboards, alerting) using CloudWatch, Prometheus, Grafana, APM.
• Define and test disaster‑recovery and high‑availability architectures, meeting RTO/RPO targets.
• Manage network topology, security groups, VPC design, DNS, TLS, and secrets management.
• Operate data and messaging layers (Kafka/MSK, PostgreSQL/RDS, Redis/ElastiCache) – backups, replication, capacity planning.
• Drive reliability engineering: on‑call rotation, incident response, post‑mortems, SLO improvement.
• Promote automation‑first and AI‑assisted workflows, including cost visibility and FinOps.

Required profile

• 5+ years of DevOps / SRE / infrastructure engineering experience.
• Strong hands‑on experience with AWS services (EKS/ECS, RDS, ElastiCache, MSK, VPC/networking).
• Proven expertise in Terraform (or CloudFormation/CDK) and container technologies.
• Solid experience building observability stacks and disaster‑recovery designs.
• Experience operating high‑traffic systems (e‑commerce, payments, banking, telecom).
