Director, Account Management

About the role

Mastercard is looking for a Director, Account Management to maintain primary responsibility for managing the customer relationship and profitability opportunities with key customers. The role covers account management and business development for key customers, working with cross-functional teams and systems to meet customer needs and drive mutual profitability.

Key responsibilities

• Manage the customer relationship and profitability opportunities with key customers, delivering strategic solutions and proactively addressing customer requirements.
• Monitor customer satisfaction with Mastercard's products and services.
• Design and execute tactical plans to enhance customer profitability, covering all key segments and objectives agreed in the CBA or other business agreement.
• Build strong relationships with customers across fraud, marketing, operations, acquiring, debit and business analysis, and understand customers' organisational politics.
• Implement customer solutions that improve revenue generation and mutual profitability, and develop internal relationships within Mastercard to differentiate it from competitors.
• Deliver against sales targets for Mastercard products and services, using brand sponsorship properties and product management resources.
• Handle administrative and operational issues for accounts, including planning and budget/expense management.
• Contribute to strategic business plans with account and market intelligence and help implement them.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree or sales experience within a blue-chip organisation.
• Extensive account management and sales experience, with multi-disciplinary knowledge of marketing, operations, risk, debit, acquiring and emerging technologies.
• Proven ability to develop and implement quantifiable business plans.
• Strong influencing, negotiation and leadership skills, with an entrepreneurial approach.
• Outstanding written, verbal and presentation communication skills in both Turkish and English.
